Gaurav Goel

Gaurav Goel is Research Fellow. Gaurav completed Bachelor’s, Master’s and Ph D studies from renowned institutes of India and Canada. His current position is supported by the Indo-UK Industry-Academic Partnership Grant funded from the Royal Academy of Engineering. His work deals primarily on conducting interdisciplinary and translational research. Before his move to the UK, he worked at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) in India on Indo-Dutch flagship project “LOTUSHR” with an aim to develop a holistic water management approach for the recovery of water, energy and nutrients from urban waste water in a cost-effective manner. He is National representative of the UK and leads a major research activity in the H2020 supported project on “European network of FURan based chemicals and materials FOR a Sustainable development” funded by the EU wide “Cooperation for Science and Technology” (COST) programme, the aim of which is to bolster networking.
