Detection of sugar syrup adulteration in honey using DNA barcoding: Data

This data is associated with the study 'Detection of sugar syrup adulteration in honey using DNA barcoding'. 


The results include the sample name, sample type, DNA extraction kit used, and the associated Cq value result for each of three qPCR reactions (Rep1-3), for each DNA marker: 

  • trnL_P6 is the general plant marker 
  • rice_rrn26 is the rice specific marker
  • corn_rrn26 is the corn specific marker
  • beet_matK is the sugar beet specific marker

*: indicates no amplification 

nt: indicates the sample was not tested for amplification with this marker
